Blue or Red?

How to make the right decision every time.

Are you fast paced? Do you tend to act quickly without prior thought?

Where has that gotten you?

Are you slow-paced? Do you tend to think more rationally? Do you make calculations or predictions before taking on a certain action?

Where has this gotten you?

Everybody has different perspectives on life.

Whether they believe that being fast-paced is the way to live life or the way to live life is slow-paced, the truth is that the best way to go through life is to have a balance between the two personalities.

Being able to either quickly react to certain situations or think rationally can set you apart from the majority, leading to your self-image being presented as a sustainable & well-rounded image.

Those who act too quickly tend to make grand mistakes they later regret.

Sometimes those mistakes can be life-changing in negative ways.

High Debt

Loss in Relationships

While on the other hand, those who act too slowly can miss out on life-changing opportunities.

If a more rational thinker is being offered a transformational relationship or pile of wealth, they tend to get suspicious of the given situation & eventually end up choosing nothing, even it it was a genuine offer.

The point here is; life is all about balance.

Getting too worked up on a certain situation can either take away a chance or lead to an unwanted circumstance.

The Right Decision

There is no one size fits all answer as it ultimately depends on the choice being made.

Although, something to keep in mind at all times is to realize when you fall victim to self-limiting cognitive biases such as;

Inductive Thinking (Overconfidence)

Shortsightedness (Lack of view over the full picture)

Defense of the Ego (Actions to Protect the Inner-Ego)

Repression (Believing your own lie)

By recognizing & remembering biases such as these you can easily spot your mistakes & look over your tracks.

If you’re starting to feel too confident about a certain activity you performed mildly well, the balance of the universe will quickly humble you enough to feel otherwise.

If you’re pushing your own lie or thought so far out of consciousness that you either believe the lie or forget that thought, you’re harming your ability to be honest.

If you take it too far, you will end up breaking promises to yourself & the people around you, leading to a lower quality of life & relationships.

Conclusion

Any time you are faced with a decision, no matter what the degree is, remember to think thoroughly but also quick enough so you don’t lose the opportunity.

Have a balance & you will attain power.
