Boredom is Productive!
Why boredom gets your creativity bubbles bubbling.
You struggle to spark creativity for one core reason.
That reason being the fact that you can’t sit down & do nothing. You’re constantly surrounded by noise & distractions. You have no way of reflecting.
As the quote by Blaise Pascal goes;
All of humanity's problems stem from man's inability to sit quietly in a room alone.
By scheduling some time to be bored & lie down in a quiet environment, you gain the ability to sit alone with your thoughts & spark new ideas.
Hustle culture likes to believe that the key to success is constant work, however, they couldn’t be further from the truth.
I used to overwork myself constantly in the early stages of my entrepreneurial journey.
I’d spend 8-13hrs/day working on my business & studying like a mad dog.
After my 3 month burnout, I realized that true success comes from your ability to sit down with yourself & think about the daily actions you take.
When you strike boredom, ask yourself:
"How am I showing up on an everyday basis?”
“Am I taking the right actions to get to where I want to be?”
Questions like these start to flow to your head.
Then once they flow to your head, you think more in-depth about the answer to that question.
From there you can start to ideate whether or not you’re taking the necessary actions & steps that are in alignment with your goals.
I could keep going on about this but I’m keeping this email short & sweet.
