My Friend's Crazy Team Meeting

Why your brand perception MATTERS

Yesterday, I had gone to my friend's team meeting for his agency startup.

He's getting into the social media marketing agency space & gets my help from time to time.

He's a month & a half into it so far & he's been able to get a couple low-ticket clients at $350, $180.

However, this isn't important.

What's important is the fact that he outreaches effectively.

He's hired his friends to do calls for him & send emails for him.

He has daily meetings with his team.

So, I decided, why not check it out.

I went to his team meeting.

Exchanged ideas on SMMA & what he could do better.

Then, he showed me his email outreach message.

It wasn’t aesthetically pleasing, it was 2 blocks of text & there was no lead for the prospect to continue with.

So, I recommended him to try something out with his email outreach.

That being to record a VSL or Miro Board presentation of everything he would for his clients.

Because after all, if you're sending people mass outreach emails, you better be sure you have a way to differentiate yourself.

The best way to do that, is by showing the prospect who you are by offering to send them a VSL breaking down everything you'll do for them.

Now, what does this have to do with anything?

It represents the fact that your brand perception matters.

How people perceive you can make or break your authority.

Will you be another copy-paste brand or will you find a way to differentiate yourself?

Anyways, that's all for me.

Until next time,

p.s; I’ve recently helped a friend on X, Jonathan Nott, with his content strategy & profile optimization.

I wrote him a new pinned tweet, wrote up 3 pieces of content following my S.A.P framework, wrote up a new banner line & wrote him a weekly lead generating piece of content.

Here’s what he had to say;

If you’d like me to do the same for you & you’re in the B2B peak-performance/productivity space.

I’d love to offer you a paid trial.

If you’d like to hear more, reply with “TRIAL”.
