Do Likes = Cash?

The harsh truth you don't want to hear....

The other day I was checking my email inbox.

I read an email by GlennWrites going over a viral X post he experienced.

He managed to get 900k+ impressions when Naval Ravikant reposted one of his content pieces.

However, guess what these 900+ impressions did for him?

$0.

A fat zero in sales.

As JK Molina likes to say;

Likes ain't Cash.

This reminds me of my ecom journey from 2 years ago.

I managed to get 3M+ views on a TikTok video.

I managed to get 2k+ followers.

I managed to get thousands of eyeballs to my website.

But guess what it did for me?

2 sales.

Sure, it wasn’t zero.

But it’s horrible when compared with the product awareness I got.

It goes to show, virality isn't what you're looking for.

Forget what the gurus tell you.

It won't work.

As Glenn said in his email...

"Going viral is like owning a pizza joint & waking up to 10,000 homeless people invading your store."

Meaning an audience doesn’t mean anything if they’re not a fit for your offer.

So, stop chasing virality.

Focus on building a tribe of people who’d be interested in your services.

Focus on genuine connection.

You'll have an easier time attracting leads & clients.

Anyways, that's all for me.

Until next time,

P.S; if you’re interested in building a brand that will give you freedom of time & a cure to your content creation stress, I’d be glad to help you out.

I’ll be writing your content, positioning your brand & scaling it to attract inbound leads without the old cold DMs.

So, if you’re a high-ticket service provider with existing clients & you’re tired of spending hours creating content.

Respond to this email with “LEADS” & I’ll give you more details.
