Take a second & get uncomfortable.
Why you need to step outside of your comfort zone.
Yesterday I took a tour at a TV production company.
I had found them through a career fair at college 3 days ago. I talked to them for a bit at the fair & decided, “Hey, why not take a tour & check out more about these guys?”
Now, I know what you may be thinking.
"Drew, why are you looking for internships if you're into entrepreneurship? "
Yes, I've been in the game for 2+ years now & have learned a lot & have started up a ton of business models.
However, there’s a reason I’m taking this up part time.
It's solely for the fact that I’ll be learning more valuable skills such as:
TV Production
Interviewing
Networking
Videography
Photography
I’m not afraid to try new things & step outside of my comfort zone.
These people have huge connections such as Ricky Martin, Mike Tyson, you name it.
It's mostly an opportunity for me to socialize & network with people.
I'm offering to help with their newsletter & social media, but that's just a small part of the puzzle.
You need to know when to take up an opportunity that seems right to pounce on.
Don't be afraid to take up opportunities you wouldn't have thought of taking up before.
Especially when it's aligned with your desires & goals.
So, ask yourself this question as frequently as you can.
"Are you stepping outside of your comfort zone enough?"
If not, see where you can take up new opportunities for growth.
Anyways, that's all for me.
Until next time,
P.S, if you missed my giveaway from yesterday, you still have more than enough time to download the guide.
