Youth Sports tie into our Success? How?
How childhood/youth sports can make or break our success.
Would you say you’re a disciplined individual?
Maybe at times?
All the time?
What is the driving force behind that discipline?
What made you such?
Usually, half or most people answering this question will respond with Sports & Fitness, which is no surprise given the benefits reaped.
Although unfortunately, not everyone can respond with the same.
Therefore the reason for writing this newsletter is because I believe everybody should be at least decent at one or more sports, simply because of the different social aspects & life lessons you learn throughout the journey.
Correlation to Success
Truth is, there are several ways to answer this question.
Sports teach you Team Work, Discipline, Creativity (Plays & Moves), Competitiveness, Optimism & most importantly, it cultivates a Growth Mindset simply because nobody wants to be the worst player on the field/court.
You eventually become obsessed with your ability to get better & outperform your opponents.
A point where you are devoting your entire life & your entire day to getting better & better.
Early Mornings.
Late Nights.
Hours Studying Films.
Hours Perfecting your Flaws.
These same characteristics & tendencies, tie directly into other aspects of life, ultimately wealth & relationships.
To achieve a higher income milestone, you need to cultivate that former sense of discipline, creativity & optimism in order to get to your milestone.
The same goes for relationships.
You won’t find somebody worth keeping without the discipline, creativity & optimism to do so.
That being;
Discipline & Optimism to find & cultivate a relationship with that initial person.
Creativity to decipher whether or not they’re worth keeping.
Holistic Message
The main takeaway from this quick newsletter, is to realize that your future success is a result of various different compounding situations & experiences.
Sports just happen to be one of those experiences/building blocks which in turn speaks for people’s success in their lives when it comes to wealth, health & relationships.
If you are a lifelong athlete as I am & you found this relatable but also truthful, don’t hesitate to share with others who may feel the same.
If you are not a lifelong athlete, don’t be disappointed as it’s never too late to learn a new sport & go through similar experiences.
