Let’s Jump In

The simple act of wanting to reach your potential simply is not enough.

You need to be able to apply certain factors to your life in order to fulfill that potential. For you to become a great musician — you need to apply certain actions & habits to your daily routines.

For you to become a great athlete — you need to apply certain actions & habits to your daily routines.

Today we will be covering six actions & habits you may be lacking — disallowing you to reach your maximum potential.

Lack of Exercise

Your physical health should be your #1 priority.

Physical health ties into your mental health as well as your professional work & personal relationships.

Although, the goal is to be free in every aspect of your life.

In order to achieve any sense of physical freedom — you need to be free with your body’s capabilities. If you want freedom with your body — you can’t afford to workout like a bodybuilder.

Bodybuilders hate moving any which way.

You want to be the opposite — taking certain pieces from everything.

  • Core

  • Cardio

  • Mobility

  • Strength

  • Endurance

  • Hypertrophy

  • Advanced Calisthenics

Mix & match all the pieces within your workout routines & you will be able to fulfill physical freedom in the long run.

Lack of Nutrition

You can’t expect to put in high quality work if you’re consuming low quality fuel.

Think of your temple (body) as a vehicle. Different vehicles need different fuel levels.

A honda civic takes regular gasoline, whilst a Lexus RX350 takes premium gasoline.

The civic is a low-performing vehicle as opposed to the RX350 which is expected to output high performance.

The same applies to your own body.

If you are consuming low quality fuel (Garbage Foods), it’s no wonder you feel like crap all the time.

Vice versa — if you consume high quality foods, such as chicken, salmon or apples.

You’ll find your body feeling 10x better with time as opposed to eating crap.

Do yourself a favor over the next few days:

  • Throw out any garbage foods

  • Buy the protein & nutrient infused alternatives

  • Eat your new groceries consistently over the long run

Lack of Routine

Routine gives us clarity & a meaningful way of going through life.

I personally work off of routine everyday & my goals have never been easier to get closer to.

(At this point — I forgot about my goals as I’m simply so focused on the daily/weekly outputs I originally set to get there.)

When you have an expectation of what to do the next day & so on — you start to gain this sense of self-control & clarity.

You know what you need to do in order to get to the next level. (You’re simply setting the daily habits to get there)

Say for example, you set a goal of running 3 miles every morning at 6:15am — eventually you’ll be able to run more & more with time.

If you set a goal to DM 3 new accounts everyday on X — you’ll form a massive link of connections. (I need to DM more accounts)

I’m sure you get the point here.

Do yourself a favor & start to set daily routines/habits to optimize your days — allowing you to get closer to your goals.

Whether it’s to:

  • Become knowledgeable

  • Become an elite athlete

  • Become a great writer

Ask yourself what habits you need to cultivate in order to get to those positions.

Revision

In essence, your daily habits define the persona you will eventually become.

Be very deliberate about the daily actions you set & perform on a daily basis.

Make things simple & ask yourself:

“Are these habits making me 1% better or 1% worse?”

Whatever makes you worse — cut it out.
